RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

The Center for Research Strategies is committed to the dissemination of evidence-based practices to improve the delivery of health, educational and human services to populations in need. Our pro-active business development approach entails: 1) identifying areas of opportunity 2) partnering with community stakeholders and experts in the field and 3) seeking funding to support product development efforts.

Over the past three years, the Center for Research Strategies has:

1. Partnered with the HepC Connection and LittleVoice Productions to produce a hepatits C prevention video to be disseminated among high-risk incarcerated populations
2. Partnered with Notchcode Creative Services, LLC, to create a prototype website to disseminate state-of-the-art outreach techniques to workers offering HIV prevention messages to run-away and homeless youth
3. Partnered with national homeless shelter providers, including Catholic Charities, the Salvation Army and Volunteers of America, along with agencies involved in the education of homeless children and youth, including the National Center on Homeless Education and the National Association of Homeless Children and Youth to create a nationally-based website that will promote participatory research approaches among educators and school districts who work with highly mobile youth.

The Center for Research Strategies has a well-established track record of securing funding support for research and development efforts.
