INTERDISCIPINARY APPLIED RESEARCH
The Center for Research Strategies believes in combining the strengths of multiple disciplines to conduct research and evaluation projects. Our staff represent different disciplines (sociology, public health, education, prevention/policy research, and medicine) and offer varied quantitative and qualitative skills. We customize the teams who work on individual projects to provide the breadth and depth of skills required to complete the tasks at hand.
The Center for Research Strategies has been at the forefront of emerging research approaches:
- A participatory action research project completed with the Colorado Department of Education is now being developed into an action research textbook and a set of web-based tools to be distributed to educators nationwide.
- CRS staff developed a curriculum on community-based participatory research that is being developed into a number of different applications (e.g., conference training, on-line classes and a textbook)
- CRS staff are applying concepts of organizational theory and complexity science into a coaching protocol to assist primary care practices in the delivery of chronic care.
Over the past ten years, CRS has conducted a broad array of program evaluations and community-based research projects. Our diverse client list is a testament to our skills and abilities. Contact us to see how we can help you. We conduct performance evaluations, outcome assessments and both short and long term program evaluations.
